Domain Name

Domain names are easier to remember than the numeric IP addresses they stand in for. They can remain the same when IP addresses change. An example of a domain name is hostmaven.com.

IP Address

An IP address is a number for your site. Many users want a unique IP Address for an SSL (which requires a unique IP), or they don't wish to share the same IP as others.

SSL

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) provides endpoint authentication and communications privacy over the Internet using cryptography. In typical use, only the server is authenticated (i.e. its identity is ensured) while the client remains unauthenticated; mutual authentication requires public key infrastructure (PKI) deployment to clients. The protocols allow client/server applications to communicate in a way designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.

Custom Nameservers

Custom nameservers allow you to keep the name of your web host private while you use the name of your choice in your nameservers. They are a useful feature for resellers.
